ServiceNow SPM Tester (German)

About the role

The ServiceNow SPM Tester ensures the quality, stability, and functionality of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management solutions. Working closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts, the tester validates end‑to‑end SPM processes before go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Design and derive test cases from user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end tests across the full SPM lifecycle.
• Validate workflows, approvals, status transitions, KPIs, roll‑up calculations, and portfolio governance processes.
• Create, maintain, and automate test cases using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) where applicable.
• Identify, analyze, document, and track defects in collaboration with developers and product owners.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives to embed quality in agile delivery.
• Develop and maintain test concepts, plans, documentation, and automation assets.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards, governance requirements, and QA best practices.
• Proactively identify testing risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience testing ServiceNow solutions, preferably within the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module.
• Hands‑on experience with Demand Management, Project Management, Resource Management, Financial Management, Portfolio Management, and Agile Interaction processes.
• Proven ability to design, execute, and document test scenarios independently and manage defect resolution.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform expertise.
• ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) for test automation.
• Knowledge of SPM modules: Demand, Project, Resource, Financial, Portfolio, and Agile Interaction.
