Software Team Manager

About the role

We are looking for a talented Software Team Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team, working on exciting projects and developing web‑based software applications for collecting, analysing, and visualising data collected from IoT devices monitoring the electrical grid. You will manage a team of software engineers, collaborate with Project Management and Product Owners, and drive Agile development.

Key responsibilities

• Line Management: resource planning, performance management and people management.
• Talent Management: retention, recruitment, and training.
• Technical Leadership: providing technical guidance and driving technical innovation and standardisation.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and decision making.

Required profile

• At least 4 years’ experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong leadership, people‑management and communication skills.
• Broad experience with modern web/cloud native technologies, frameworks, and platforms.
• General experience building SaaS applications.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python.NET, TypeScript, Bash, PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic).
• Familiarity with networking concepts, security protocols, and identity management.
