Solution Architect – ADMS Projects

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Solution Architect to support the delivery of EcoStruxure™ ADMS, a flagship product used by utility companies worldwide. The role is based in Serbia and focuses on system architecture, solution design, and aligning technology with business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and integrate large‑scale, customer‑specific software solutions for ADMS projects.
• Participate in requirement analysis and translate business needs into technical architectures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and specifications.
• Establish and enforce architecture principles, patterns, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data exchange and system interoperability.
• Engage in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting across design, testing, and cut‑over phases.
• Apply best practices in cybersecurity, fault‑tolerant design, and scalable architecture.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development, system integration, or IT architecture.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into a strategic Solution Architect role.

Required skills

• Object‑oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++.
• Fundamental knowledge of distributed software architecture and system/network design.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data‑protection practices.
• Experience with databases, SQL, and data analysis concepts.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., server virtualization, VDI) – a plus.
• Experience with Windows Server features, including Active Directory – a plus.
