About the role

Delhaize Serbia is looking for a Specialist in Architectural Works to lead the design, development and optimisation of store layouts and interior solutions across various formats. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on project coordination to ensure brand consistency and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, develop and improve architectural‑technological and interior layout solutions for different store formats, monitoring implementation and optimisation.
• Define and evolve look‑and‑feel standards, including functional solutions, materialisation and user experience.
• Create visual identity concepts for stores, ensuring brand consistency across exterior and interior design.
• Assess potential locations for new stores, providing technical feasibility, investment requirements and strategic recommendations.
• Produce conceptual architectural solutions and layouts for new stores, liaising with landlords and their technical teams.
• Coordinate design and construction processes for new and existing stores, guaranteeing quality, timelines and compliance with standards.
• Review technical documentation, manage building permit applications and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Analyse project solutions against approved CAPEX, identify optimisation opportunities and suggest technical and financial improvements.
• Collaborate with external partners (design offices, consultants, surveying firms) and internal teams (Expansion, Formats, Technical Development, Operations, Portfolio).
