System Test Engineer

About the role

The System Test Engineer will validate complete end‑to‑end solutions for Schneider Electric's Asset Performance Management platform. Working with product managers, software engineers and subject‑matter experts, you will ensure that integrated software, hardware (when applicable) and third‑party components behave as expected in realistic operational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute system‑level test strategies, plans and validation criteria.
• Design and maintain test scenarios that cover interactions between multiple applications, APIs, cloud services and hardware.
• Verify full customer workflows in representative operational settings.
• Analyze system behaviour, identify integration defects, configuration issues and interoperability problems.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA teams and product managers to investigate and resolve complex issues.
• Contribute to the creation of realistic test environments and validation datasets.
• Support solution integration, verification and release readiness.
• Help automate end‑to‑end and integration test cases and explore AI‑powered testing capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in system testing, integration testing or solution validation.
• Strong understanding of complex software systems, distributed architectures, APIs and system integrations.
• Proven ability to analyse technical outputs, reproduce realistic business scenarios and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Experience working with multiple interconnected products rather than isolated applications.
• Familiarity with customer operational workflows and the ability to assess system‑level risks.
