Tech Lead (Go) – Software Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a strong Tech Lead with deep software engineering and backend expertise to lead a small cross‑functional team. You will own technical decisions, architecture, and engineering quality while staying hands‑on in production development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction, make key architecture decisions, and design scalable backend services using Go.
• Stay hands‑on with production code, solve complex challenges, and improve system performance, reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Mentor and support the growth of 3 Software Engineers and 2 QA Engineers.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce high engineering standards, and continuously improve development processes.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and other engineering teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang) and backend development.
• Proven experience designing scalable, distributed systems and microservices.
• Hands‑on approach with a focus on code quality, testing, and system reliability.
• Experience leading engineers and driving architectural decisions.

Required skills

• Go (Golang)
• PostgreSQL, Redis, REST APIs
• Message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Kubernetes and GitOps (nice to have)
• AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
