Trade Marketing Channel Manager – Modern Trade

About the role

Trade Marketing Channel Manager – Modern Trade reports to the Trade Marketing Manager and is responsible for leading the Modern Trade channel strategy, translating brand priorities into growth‑driving customer plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Modern Trade channel strategy and develop customer plans that drive growth.
• Build impactful customer activations, shopper programs and Joint Value Plans with key retail partners.
• Drive category growth through Category Management, PICOS standards and execution excellence at the point of sale.
• Manage trade investments and optimise channel performance using data, insights and ROI analysis.
• Deliver successful innovation launches and commercial initiatives through strong cross‑functional collaboration.
• Identify new growth opportunities and turn shopper, customer and market insights into business results.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Brand, Category or Trade Marketing management (FMCG a plus).
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, strong team spirit and collaboration mindset.
