Video Editor & Storyboard Writer for Paid Social Ads

About the role

We are looking for a performance‑driven Video Editor and Storyboard Writer who will define visual and narrative structures for high‑performing paid‑social ads. The role is remote, focuses on creating actionable storyboards and editing as needed, and supports a fast‑growing wellness brand.

Key responsibilities

• Create performance‑driven storyboards for paid‑social ads, defining visual flow, hooks, on‑screen text and B‑roll.
• Provide clear guidance to editors, including stock footage, AI‑generated assets and motion graphics.
• Develop strong hooks, angles and ad structures based on current Meta, TikTok and YouTube trends.
• Iterate concepts using performance data and creative feedback.
• Collaborate with marketing, copywriters and other editors to improve results.
• Edit ads when needed using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, and incorporate AI tools such as avatars or generative video.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating storyboards for paid‑social or direct‑response ads.
• Strong understanding of performance‑marketing principles (hooks, CTR, retention).
• Experience with DTC brands or UGC‑style ad formats.
• Comfortable using AI creative tools (avatars, voice generation, generative video).
• Solid video‑editing skills; Adobe Premiere Pro required, After Effects a plus.
• Excellent written English with conversion‑focused copywriting.
