Waiter – Guest Service Expert

About the role

The Guest Service Expert (Waiter) will create memorable dining experiences for guests at the Courtyard by Marriott in Belgrade. You will be responsible for delivering food and beverage service while maintaining high standards of hospitality and safety. The role requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting, ensuring a safe and efficient service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, maintain a clean dining environment, and replenish supplies.
• Communicate guest orders to the kitchen, serve food and drinks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Interact with guests, address their needs, and provide a friendly, professional service.
• Maintain accurate order records and handle payment transactions.
• Adhere to health, safety, uniform, and appearance standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unaided and moving objects up to 50 lb with assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
