Web Designer (Belgrade)
resupply · Belgrade
Job description
About the role
ReSupply, a US company founded by veterans that collects donated furniture and household goods and delivers them to charities, is hiring a Web Designer for its Belgrade office (hybrid). The role owns the look and feel of the main site and the landing pages sent to ad traffic: about 80% of the time is spent designing page layouts, web graphics and visual consistency, while the other 20% is building pages in the CMS and making HTML/CSS fixes. You will work closely with the marketing team in Boston.
Key responsibilities
- Design desktop and mobile layouts for the main site, city and service-area pages and paid landing pages, with clear hierarchy and an obvious next step.
- Create web graphics such as icons, illustrations, banners and edited photography that explain how pickup works, and keep them fast.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable page sections and components, and keep type, colour, imagery and spacing consistent with organised source files.
- Work with SEO and marketing on copy placement, page structure and conversion goals; design variations for landing page tests and use the results to improve them.
- Put designs live in the CMS and page builder, write HTML and CSS when needed, export and optimise assets, and check pages on real phones and browsers.
- Use AI in design and build, while ensuring real photos of donors, crews, trucks and partners and respecting rights and licensing.
Required profile
- 3+ years of professional design experience, mostly on live websites or landing pages.
- A portfolio of shipped web work showing desktop and mobile, with your role clearly marked.
- Hands-on experience putting your own designs live in a CMS, page builder, or by writing HTML and CSS; you do not need to be a full developer.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with at least five hours of overlap with US Eastern time each weekday (flexible otherwise).
- Nice to have: experience designing for US or other English-speaking audiences, customising CMS templates, some JavaScript, conversion-focused consumer sites and A/B testing, motion animation, and an example of using AI on a project.
Required skills
- Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator, or equivalents.
- Typography, layout and image editing.
- Optimised web graphics (SVG, PNG, WebP) and practical accessibility knowledge (contrast, alt text, thumb-friendly buttons).
To apply, send a resume in English and a portfolio of two or three website projects, including mobile layouts and original web graphics, and state which parts you designed and which you built. Links to live pages you published are optional.
