Accounts Receivable Associate – Shared Services

About the role

Magna is looking for motivated Accounts Receivable Associates to join its new Shared Service Center. You will help optimise global financial operations in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring timely processing of customer invoices and incoming payments across several European countries.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer invoices and monitor incoming payments accurately and on time.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Controlling, HR and IT.
• Document and standardise AR procedures.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding AR transactions.

Required profile

• Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting or business administration.
• Initial experience in accounts receivable or general accounting (preferred).
• Experience in a shared‑service or international environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, hands‑on mentality and proactive approach.
• Team player with good communication skills and an independent working style.
• Good written and oral English; German or other languages beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
