AI SaaS Platform Architect / Engineer

About the role

We are building a new AI‑powered SaaS platform for accounting firms and need an experienced Software Developer to shape both the technical architecture and the product from day one. You will work closely with the founders to turn product ideas into a scalable, AI‑driven solution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a modern SaaS platform from the ground up.
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions in partnership with the Product Manager.
• Implement AI‑powered workflows and orchestrate AI agents for complex business processes.
• Develop integrations with third‑party accounting, payroll, and financial systems.
• Design scalable APIs, backend services, and webhook‑based messaging flows.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices.
• Prototype new AI capabilities and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping production applications that use LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) for real business use cases.
• Experience integrating third‑party business software APIs (ERP, CRM, accounting, payroll).
• Hands‑on experience building webhook integrations and secure authentication/consent flows.
• Comfortable using AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code in daily work.
• Ability to own architectural decisions for complex, multi‑integration AI products.
• Strong independent work ethic in a fast‑moving, product‑focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
