Associate Director, People Operations – Europe

About the role

Ergomed Group is seeking a senior HR leader to shape the people experience across its European footprint. As Regional Associate Director, People Operations you will drive HR operations, support local teams, and build scalable HR infrastructure for a fast‑growing, regulated business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR operations across Europe, guiding local HR generalists and ensuring policies align with corporate goals and local realities.
• Act as the go‑to expert for complex employee‑relations cases, investigations, and disciplinary processes, resolving escalated issues fairly and efficiently.
• Partner with staff representatives, attend meetings, and advise on employment matters in each country.
• Champion employee engagement and development by identifying training needs and creating growth opportunities with learning specialists and HR Business Partners.
• Maintain compliance with labour‑law and HR regulatory requirements, conducting audits and driving continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyse HR data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Senior HR professional with proven experience managing multi‑country HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of European labour law and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee‑relations issues and investigations.
• Excellent coaching and development skills for local HR teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience turning HR data into strategic direction.
• Fluent English; additional European languages a plus.
