Billing Manager

About the role

The Billing Manager will lead the end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) process, ensuring invoices are accurate, delivered on time and compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements. The role works closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Operations to optimise revenue realisation and maintain high‑quality billing data.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full O2C cycle, from order validation through invoicing to payment processing.
• Oversee daily billing operations, guaranteeing timely and accurate invoice generation.
• Own and maintain billing systems, driving enhancements, issue resolution and process optimisation.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve billing processes, controls and SOPs.
• Ensure billing data integrity and compliance with internal policies, financial controls and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve billing issues and support seamless customer transactions.
• Monitor billing performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve cash flow and customer experience.
• Handle billing escalations, customer disputes and complex invoicing requirements.
• Support business transformation initiatives, including system implementations and automation projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance and training to billing team members.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Business Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, billing or financial operations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a logical, structured approach.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Resilient and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with Tableau or other BI tools.
• Knowledge of SAP (desirable).
