Cloud Operations Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Operations Architect to lead the design, implementation and management of scalable, secure and resilient cloud‑based solutions. The role will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive cloud adoption, optimise resources and ensure high‑performance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability, performance and disaster recovery.
• Define and enforce best practices for security, compliance and governance of cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee day‑to‑day cloud operations, monitoring performance, logging, and proactively resolving incidents.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives through efficient resource utilisation.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Automate routine cloud management tasks to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating large‑scale cloud environments.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with development, security and operations teams.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, compliance standards and governance frameworks.
• Ability to lead cost‑optimization and automation initiatives.
