Cook – Full-time Kitchen Position

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team at a prestigious hotel in Belgrade. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes while adhering to our standards for taste, presentation, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and complete food preparation checklists.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Test foods for doneness, monitor temperature, and ensure food quality throughout preparation.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen environment.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies, reporting any issues to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least 1 year of related kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Accurate measuring, weighing and mixing of ingredients.
• Food safety practices, including temperature monitoring and sanitation.
