Director of Product (PLG‑Led SaaS)

About the role

RapidSeedbox, a profitable bootstrapped B2C SaaS provider, is seeking a Director of Product to own the strategy, growth and execution of its core self‑service product. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, you will lead Product, Engineering and IT Operations in a remote, hands‑on player‑coach capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap, focusing on high‑impact growth opportunities.
• Optimize the end‑to‑end self‑service customer journey – acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, churn reduction and monetisation.
• Lead and develop the Product & Technology team, including Growth Product Manager, Head of Engineering and Head of IT Operations.
• Set clear goals, KPIs and scorecards, ensuring accountability across product and technology functions.
• Drive continuous experimentation, using data to improve adoption, recurring revenue and customer lifecycle performance.
• Partner with engineering and infrastructure leaders to translate business needs into technical priorities.
• Stay close to customers, using feedback and behavioural data to guide decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product leadership experience in a SaaS environment, preferably overseeing both product and technology teams.
• Proven track record growing a product through a product‑led, self‑service model.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using KPIs, funnels, cohorts, retention curves and unit economics.
• Experience in small, bootstrapped tech companies (under 50 employees) and remote, multicultural teams.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of PLG mechanics (onboarding, activation, retention, churn, monetisation, experimentation).
• Technical fluency sufficient to collaborate with senior engineering and infrastructure leaders.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as MRR, CAC, LTV and churn.
