Director, Product Management – Verification & Authentication

About the role

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the Verification & Authentication portfolio. You will shape the strategy for next‑generation trusted digital interactions and drive adoption of APIs, SDKs and emerging authentication models.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise customers, developers and GTM teams to discover pain points and translate market needs into platform capabilities.
• Define and execute a multi‑year roadmap covering Verify API, MFA, silent verification, push, password‑less and future models.
• Anticipate market shifts such as passkeys, device‑bound credentials and AI‑driven fraud, and prioritize investments.
• Lead, coach and grow a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership and execution discipline.
• Own the business performance of the portfolio – growth, margin, adoption, retention and expansion.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science to embed risk signals, ML models and adaptive authentication.
• Establish KPIs on fraud loss reduction, approval rates, step‑up efficiency, developer activation and margin contribution.
• Drive large‑scale experimentation to improve fraud outcomes and developer experience.
• Communicate risk posture, customer impact and commercial trade‑offs to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product management experience leading platform‑level initiatives.
• Deep background in fraud, trust & safety, identity, payments or regulated high‑scale platforms.
• Proven ability to translate authentication or identity signals into measurable product outcomes.
• Strong cross‑functional influence and executive‑level communication skills.
• High‑agency leader comfortable with ambiguity and delivering at scale.
