Enterprise Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team at Magna works at the intersection of business and technology, shaping a unified view of capabilities, processes, data, applications, security and the overall technology landscape. The Enterprise Architect will lead the definition, support and publication of current and future‑state enterprise architecture, embedding an AI‑first mindset into architectural decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define, support and publish Magna’s current‑ and future‑state enterprise architecture across technology, processes, data and security.
• Embed an AI‑first mindset into enterprise design and architectural decisions.
• Deliver actionable EA outputs in an agile, time‑sensitive manner, ensuring alignment with strategy, roadmaps and the broader enterprise context.
• Act as an internal management consultancy, providing expertise for strategic decision‑making and implementation.
• Publish Global IT’s enterprise reference architecture, including design guidelines and standards for target‑state capabilities.
• Evaluate architectural options and support the development of technology strategy in response to emerging disruptive factors.
• Maintain strong industry knowledge across Magna business areas and guide the adoption of emerging technologies.
• Assess technology strategy, organizational setup, applications and infrastructure, identifying IT‑related risks.
• Advise on the full enterprise architecture landscape, including application, data, integration and security architecture.
• Integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities into enterprise solutions using modern frameworks.
• Lead or support the implementation of large‑scale, innovative IT solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture within large, complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of AI integration and modern architectural frameworks.
• Ability to produce and communicate reference architectures, design guidelines and standards.
• Experience delivering EA outputs in agile, time‑sensitive environments.
• Capability to act as an internal consultant influencing strategic decisions.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
