Facility Operations Manager – Shopping Mall

About the role

The Facility Operations Manager ensures the smooth, safe, and high‑quality daily operation of Galerija Shopping Mall. You will oversee technical systems, facility services, and on‑site standards to keep the mall clean, functional, and welcoming for visitors and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily mall operations and maintain operational readiness across all areas.
• Monitor public spaces, service corridors and exterior zones, addressing any visual or functional deficiencies.
• Review mystery shopper feedback, coordinate corrective actions and prevent recurring issues.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, contractors and internal teams, providing timely operational support.
• Manage operational and capital expenditure activities, cost control and utility monitoring.
• Ensure reliable functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and building management systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with contractors and internal teams.
• Conduct inspections of technical rooms and equipment, addressing risks before they affect operations.
• Oversee cleaning, waste management, landscaping, pest control and other facility services, ensuring service quality.
• Support health, safety and environmental compliance through inspections and reporting.

Required profile

• Technical background in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in facility or operations management within a large‑scale commercial environment.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving mindset.
