Finance Transformation Consultant

About the role

Join Ahold Delhaize as a Finance Transformation Consultant and help shape the future of finance across our global retail brands. You will work closely with the Transition Manager in Finance Services to drive strategic evolution of business processes from vision to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and coordinate medium to high‑complexity finance transformation projects, defining scope, activities, deadlines and priorities.
• Analyse existing business processes, propose improvements and standardisation, and support implementation of organisational and system changes.
• Coordinate activities across all project phases, manage documentation, and ensure smooth transition of solutions into regular operations.
• Facilitate collaboration between business functions, IT teams and external stakeholders, aligning requirements and communicating progress.
• Identify, assess and monitor project risks, implement mitigation measures and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare analyses, reports, presentations and monitor results using KPIs to continuously improve transformation activities.
• Contribute to the development of project‑management methodologies, tools and best practices, and support training and knowledge‑transfer initiatives.
