Global Estates Manager

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Global Estates Manager to lead the management of its Clinical Research Division (CRG) real‑estate lease portfolio. This role oversees office and laboratory facilities worldwide, ensuring lease processes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support a diverse portfolio of properties across multiple countries, adapting to strategic portfolio plans.
• Conduct market research with real‑estate partners to identify trends, demand, and opportunities.
• Prepare, review, and maintain lease agreements, amendments, and related documentation.
• Assist in negotiations for leases, purchases, and sales of corporate properties.
• Track critical lease dates such as rent escalations, renewals, and expirations.
• Support accurate lease accounting, rent payments, security deposits, and other financial aspects.
• Liaise with landlords, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve lease‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with lease terms, real‑estate laws, and regulations.
• Collaborate with Estates leadership on workplace innovation and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Real Estate, Finance).
• Proven experience managing global real‑estate lease portfolios, preferably in a corporate or scientific environment.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
