Identity & Access Management Engineer

About the role

The Identity & Access Management Engineer will own the day‑to‑day operation of a modern cloud‑based identity platform that supports the enterprise workforce. Working on a small, hands‑on team, you will ensure the platform runs smoothly, automate manual processes, and continuously improve its security and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and administer the enterprise identity tenant, including policy tuning, group and rule management, MFA, adaptive access, and overall tenant hygiene.
• Onboard and maintain SSO integrations (SAML/OIDC) and SCIM provisioning for the corporate application portfolio.
• Design, build, and maintain joiner/mover/leaver automation using identity workflow tools and HR‑driven provisioning.
• Provide L2/L3 support for identity‑related helpdesk tickets, resolve issues within SLA, and feed recurring problems into automation and runbooks.
• Respond to identity‑related security incidents (account compromise, suspicious authentication, privilege misuse) with containment actions and post‑incident analysis.
• Monitor system logs, define alerts for authentication anomalies, policy drift, and integration failures.
• Support quarterly user access reviews and governance of non‑human identities such as service accounts and API credentials.

Required profile

• Hands‑on professional comfortable with full ownership of a production identity platform.
• Ability to work closely with an IAM Architect and collaborate across security, HR, and IT teams.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and experience handling L2/L3 support and incident response.
