Lead Internal Auditor

About the role

Join Clarivate’s global Internal Audit Department as a Lead Internal Auditor. You will drive the annual SOX compliance program, perform control testing, and support broader audit initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed audit programs and workflows.
• Review and approve audit workpapers prepared by team members.
• Create risk and control matrices that define audit scope and objectives.
• Prioritize and manage audit activities within budget and in line with internal audit policies.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Execute special projects and investigations as required.

Required profile

• Proficient in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in audit.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SOX controls testing and compliance is a plus.
• Familiarity with data‑analytics and AI‑enabled audit tools is advantageous.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Knowledge of COSO framework and IIA Standards.
