Rail and Water Transport Integration Coordinator

About the role

The Rail and Water Transport Integration Coordinator will lead the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of multimodal transport solutions that combine rail and water services. This role ensures safe, efficient and sustainable movement of visitors, participants and other users during events and everyday operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and monitor activities that integrate rail and water transport to deliver efficient, safe and sustainable mobility.
• Contribute to the design of feeder lines and integrated transport solutions linking rail, water and other transport modes.
• Coordinate with rail and water operators, infrastructure managers, authorities and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system operation.
• Monitor capacity availability, analyse traffic flows and propose optimisation measures.
• Assist in creating operational plans, procedures and collaboration models, and track their implementation.
• Identify risks and operational challenges, recommending corrective actions to maintain service continuity and quality.
• Provide timely activity reports, collaborate with internal units and support projects aimed at enhancing the integrated transport system.

Required profile

• University degree in transport, logistics, organizational sciences, management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transport, logistics or coordination of traffic/infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in planning, organising and coordinating integrated transport systems with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of rail and water transport operations and their integration with other modes.
• Knowledge of transport planning, capacity management and traffic‑flow analysis.
• Familiarity with domestic and international standards and regulations for rail and water transport is a plus.
• Active English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
