Sales Development Representative

About the role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) joins iBASIS’s Global Enterprise Sales team to create the first point of contact with potential customers. You will generate leads, conduct market research and collaborate with sales management to shape the go‑to‑market strategy for an assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and compile a list of prospective customers within the designated territory.
• Initiate outreach and record all activities in the company CRM system.
• Execute the agreed go‑to‑market plan in partnership with the Sales Manager.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of iBASIS’s product and service value propositions.
• Secure sales appointments and directly contribute to the sales pipeline.
• Provide weekly reports on activity, territory insights, industry trends and competitive news.

Required profile

• University degree in business, economics, linguistics or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in business development, lead generation or sales (A2P SMS or digital services is a plus).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational abilities, proactive mindset and innovative approach.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Motivation for a long‑term sales career and a growth‑oriented attitude.

Required skills
