SAP R2R Architect – Record-to-Report Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an SAP R2R Architect to lead the transformation of Record-to-Report processes using SAP solutions. You will shape architecture governance, create customer roadmaps, and deliver methodologies that boost organizational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP pre‑sale and implementation governance, including fit‑gap analysis, process changes, and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate existing customer solutions to identify SAP implementation opportunities.
• Develop R2R functional requirements and align them with IT and business enablers through blueprints.
• Collaborate on account planning to define customer visions and drive architecture governance across the R2R domain.
• Integrate business, data, application, and technical architecture within the R2R scope.
• Support target architecture and roadmap development, ensuring continuous alignment with SAP solutions.
• Introduce innovations to meet specific customer needs and optimize processes.
• Build strong customer relationships and assist sales in solution discovery.
• Assess R2R trends and SAP portfolio to formulate effective roadmaps.
• Provide effort estimates for organizational design, technical configuration, and SAP development.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Software Architect.
• Proven ability to identify business opportunities and close solution gaps in the R2R domain.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling functionality.
• Understanding of budgeting, S&OP, cost allocation, fast‑closing approaches, GAAP and IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills with both IT and business stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).
