Security Engineer

About the role

The Security Engineer will design, implement, and continuously improve security controls across cloud, infrastructure, application, and data protection environments. This hands‑on position translates security architecture standards into operational capabilities, supporting digital transformation and overall cybersecurity resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support security solutions in cloud, infrastructure, data protection, application security/DevSecOps, and security platform engineering domains.
• Build, configure, integrate, and optimize security tools and controls for scalability and measurable outcomes.
• Support security architecture and risk review activities by providing technical expertise and implementing required controls.
• Integrate application security controls and DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain engineering baselines, hardening standards, and configuration benchmarks.
• Automate security controls and processes using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) methodologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standards for reliable operations.
• Collaborate with Cyber Defense Operations to ensure proper telemetry, logging, monitoring, detection, and response.
• Assist global deployment and maintenance of security engineering solutions while meeting regional requirements.
• Partner with IT and technology teams for implementation planning, troubleshooting, and operational readiness.
• Promote consistent implementation of security controls and support governance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or similar technical roles with hands‑on implementation.
