Senior Accountant – Serbia

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead its in‑house accounting function in Serbia. You will ensure compliance with statutory regulations, prepare accurate financial statements and support the finance team in month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the company’s accounting books in line with local statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular general audits of all accounting ledgers.
• Prepare and submit statutory financial statements and tax declarations to the Group.
• Handle tax accounting, minimise tax exposure and ensure correct VAT treatment.
• Lead the yearly external audit, liaise with auditors and compile audit schedules.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, including reconciliations.
• Ensure accounting policies and procedures comply with current legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Pantheon and Navision accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
