Senior Android Developer

About the role

Devtech is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join its Global Services Unit. You will design, build and maintain high‑quality Android applications and libraries, contributing to innovative digital solutions for Fortune 1000 and emerging clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, following best‑practice UI/UX patterns.
• Design and implement user interfaces that adhere to Android design principles.
• Integrate apps with back‑end services via RESTful APIs.
• Implement offline data storage with Room and ensure data persistence.
• Optimize performance, including memory, CPU, GPU and battery usage.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features from specification to launch.
• Participate in company‑wide knowledge‑sharing, security and quality initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and contribute to a collaborative team.
