Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform Modernization

About the role

Global IT Factory (GITF) is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the modernization of its OCI‑based SaaS platform and to build new cloud‑native solutions. You will own DevOps and SecOps activities, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across all environments while working remotely within Serbia.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and other clouds.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Nagios.
• Build and deploy Kubernetes applications using Helm or Kustomize.
• Design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for containerised and VM workloads.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD and infrastructure, manage vulnerabilities with OWASP and SonarQube.
• Lead incident response, disaster recovery planning, and ensure ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and collaborate with development and operations teams.
• Optimise cloud usage, track licences, and manage cost‑effective scaling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• 3+ years building and deploying Kubernetes applications.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience securing cloud environments and handling compliance requirements.
