Senior Django Developer – Remote (CET timezone)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Django Developer to work remotely for one of our clients. The ideal candidate is growth‑oriented, passionate about building exciting products, and can operate within the CET timezone.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Django.
• Implement security and data‑protection solutions.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design and implement low‑latency, high‑availability, and performant applications.
• Collaborate with the product team to define and implement new features.

Required profile

• 5+ years of web development experience, with at least 4 years specialising in Django.
• Strong understanding of the Django ORM, Django REST framework, and Python.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources and databases into a single system.
• Knowledge of Python threading limitations and multi‑process architecture.
• Familiarity with server‑side templating languages such as Jinja2 or Mako.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
• Experience with user authentication and authorization across multiple systems.
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Available to work within the CET timezone (±3 hours).
