Senior Purchasing Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Expert to lead the procurement strategy for a dedicated category within our telecom business. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing budgets and driving cost‑saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with corporate purchasing guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute negotiation strategies for the assigned procurement category.
• Monitor and optimise the budget allocated to the category.
• Independently negotiate the purchase of goods and services in line with business needs.
• Lead transparent vendor selection processes in accordance with purchasing and compliance standards.
• Initiate and participate in cost‑saving activities and support the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process.
• Execute tasks requested by TAG Purchasing following group standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Prepare reports and maintain sourcing documentation.
• Utilise SAP procurement modules for daily activities.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Team‑oriented, responsible, reliable and motivated to exceed performance targets.

Required skills

• SAP (procurement modules) knowledge.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
