Senior System Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Security Engineer to join our team in Belgrade. You will be responsible for safeguarding our platforms and services by implementing robust security controls and ensuring continuous protection against emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and implement advanced patch management strategies across Windows, Linux, Android, iOS and network devices.
• Lead comprehensive vulnerability assessments and drive remediation in line with industry standards and customer policies.
• Define and enforce security baselines and hardening procedures for diverse environments.
• Manage sophisticated antivirus solutions, continuously improving malware detection and removal capabilities.
• Provide training to internal teams on cybersecurity best practices.
• Develop and implement security solutions for new and existing systems and applications.
• Create, review, and align internal processes with customer security policies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve security-related incidents and issues.
• Maintain Python scripts for deployment and automation of security tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Extensive experience in cybersecurity roles, covering patch management, vulnerability management, baseline hardening and antivirus management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, consultative and communication abilities, with the capacity to work independently and within a team.
