Software Developer – MES

About the role

We are seeking a Software Developer specialized in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to join our Belgrade team. You will work on the development, integration and testing of MES solutions for various industrial clients, applying modern software development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in continuous learning to enhance software development and digital manufacturing knowledge.
• Scope, cost and design low‑complexity MES projects.
• Collaborate with clients to identify appropriate solutions and enhancements.
• Configure and develop new MES functionality according to design specifications.
• Take accountability for quality and deadlines, flagging risks to the Project Manager.
• Prepare and execute system testing and validation activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specs and test plans.
• Support commissioning at client sites, either independently or with consultants.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including automation engineers.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of accountability for quality and delivery timelines.
• Effective communication with clients and project teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning activities.
