Wireless and Connectivity Integration Engineer

About the role

The Wireless and Connectivity Integration Engineer will join the Connected Systems Integration Team within the Infotainment Organization at R|V Tech. You will work closely with software developers, system integrators and engineers to bring Wi‑Fi, cellular, Ethernet, Bluetooth, GPS and telematics features to production vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse data from overnight test runs, updating test procedures based on findings.
• Integrate newly developed wireless and connectivity features and create corresponding test plans and cases.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings to align on test expectations and schedules.
• Prioritise and resolve ticket backlog, ensuring timely support for stakeholders.
• Document designs, test plans and results, and assist in triage of connectivity‑related issues.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in test execution and documentation.
• Ability to correlate feedback from diverse data sets and identify performance anomalies.
• Keen observation skills for wireless (Wi‑Fi, 5G, LTE, GPS, Bluetooth) behaviour.
• Deep understanding of telematics, end‑to‑end data routing and validation.
• Familiarity with middleware and layered network schemes.
• Native Linux proficiency (command‑line, tools, bring‑up); embedded Linux experience is a plus.
