Future Talent – Maintenance Automation Engineer

About the role

Join Tetra Pak’s Future Talent Programme as a Maintenance Automation Engineer and start a permanent career in October 2026. This 18‑month trainee program combines training, job rotations and hands‑on projects to develop your engineering skills in a global food‑packaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Learn modern technology used to produce packaging materials.
• Lead preventive maintenance activities for automation and electrical equipment to ensure safe, stable operation.
• Conduct systematic diagnostics and root‑cause analysis, defining corrective and preventive measures.
• Contribute to World Class Manufacturing (Total Productive Maintenance) using an “infinite loop” problem‑solving approach.
• Lead projects and participate in cross‑functional activities across the site.
• Prepare and execute equipment modifications and improvements.
• Practice people‑management tasks such as goal setting, feedback, performance follow‑up and skill development.

Required profile

• Graduated (2025) or graduating (2026) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Confident computer and presentation skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong knowledge and interest in automation and electrical systems.
• Mature, professional personality with the ability to build a broad network.
• Problem‑solver with high personal drive.
