Maintenance Automation Engineer – Future Talent Programme

About the role

Join Tetra Pak’s Future Talent Programme as a Maintenance Automation Engineer in Gornji Milanovac. Over an 18‑month trainee period you will rotate through key functions, learn modern packaging technologies and develop the expertise needed to keep automation and electrical equipment running reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on automation and electrical assets to ensure safe, stable operation.
• Conduct systematic diagnostics and root‑cause analysis of equipment failures, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support World Class Manufacturing initiatives, applying Total Productive Maintenance principles to eliminate losses.
• Lead small projects and cross‑functional activities, driving equipment modifications and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with global teams, presenting findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (2025) or final‑year student (2026) in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving drive and ability to work independently.
• Professional, mature attitude with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English and Serbian, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Knowledge of automation and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
