Civil Engineer – Structures (Metro Stations) – Belgrade

About the role

DB Engineering & Consulting is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer specialized in structures to support the design and technical control of underground metro station projects in Belgrade. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that structural solutions meet all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify all components of station structural design, including calculations, numerical models, and construction drawings.
• Assess compliance with applicable standards, codes, and project‑specific requirements for metro stations.
• Validate analysis models and assumptions, especially soil‑structure interaction under construction and operational conditions.
• Coordinate with design engineers, geotechnical specialists, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical review reports with detailed comments, required revisions, and recommendations for design approval.
• Monitor implementation of approved technical solutions and provide guidance during the preparation of project documentation.
• Monitor the condition of existing buildings and structures affected by construction, recommending preservation measures.
• Review contractor work plans and schedules, offering recommendations and participating in progress reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering design.
• At least 5 years of experience in structural design for underground or metro projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and geotechnical interaction.
• Proven ability to produce technical review reports and guide multidisciplinary teams.
