About the role

The Senior Civil Engineer will lead all phases of construction projects, from planning through commissioning and closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role requires close coordination with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory bodies, and subcontractors to guarantee compliance and successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, including preparation, execution, commissioning, and handover.
• Supervise the construction site, coordinating civil, mechanical, and electrical works, equipment installation, and logistics.
• Assume legal responsibility for the contractor’s work, liaise with inspections, and apply relevant building and planning regulations.
• Allocate human and material resources, organize subcontractors, and conduct regular quality control.
• Prepare and update dynamic schedules, weekly/monthly reports, and resource consumption analyses.
• Monitor contractual obligations, manage project risks, change requests (RFC), and information requests (RFI).
• Track budget, cash flow, revenues, and payments to subcontractors, preparing monthly financial summaries.
• Maintain construction diaries, inspection books, certificates, and contract registers.
• Conduct regular meetings with the client, supervision, and project team, resolve documentation gaps, and participate in technical acceptance.
• Contribute to tender documentation, propose process improvements, and, when needed, manage multiple projects simultaneously.
