Group Logistics System & Process Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP logistics professional to lead the development, implementation and standardisation of SAP‑based logistics solutions across multiple plants. You will work on digital logistics projects from concept through rollout and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the SAP and logistics‑systems specialist for transport management, supplier collaboration, scanning, shop‑floor data capture, inventory optimisation and supply‑risk monitoring.
• Translate business requirements into SAP specifications, coordinate implementation with internal DIG&IT teams and external partners.
• Support evaluation of planning and scheduling capabilities across S&OP, MPS, APS and finite scheduling.
• Strengthen SAP user capabilities through training, super‑user coaching and plant support.
• Standardise and optimise SAP logistics operations, reducing local process variations.
• Lead or support rollout and continuous improvement of TMS and returnable‑packaging management solutions.
• Monitor SAP MRP implementation, master‑data readiness and planning‑parameter quality, and support SAP setup for new plants.
• Drive SAP customisation, upgrades and enhancements, conduct plant reviews and audits, and follow corrective actions to completion.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field.
• 3–5 years of experience in SAP logistics, operational digitalisation, rollout and support, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of automotive supply‑chain processes, OEM call‑off logic, JIT/JIS and inter‑company flows.
• Ability to manage multiple digital projects and coordinate internal IT teams, external partners and plant stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to different plant locations and fluent professional proficiency in English.
