Metro Traffic Engineer – Transport Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Traffic Engineer to support the operational control and delivery of transport infrastructure projects, focusing on construction site activities, design documentation, quality standards and client requirements. In this role you will contribute to the preparation, coordination and implementation of engineering tasks within complex infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor construction site activities, work progress, materials and design documentation in line with client requirements and professional standards.
• Prepare general, conceptual and detailed designs as well as studies, specifications, drawings and related technical documentation.
• Contribute to cost‑benefit analyses and strategic assessments in the fields of transport infrastructure, transportation and logistics.
• Further develop and detail designs and support the resolution of technical issues related to design documentation.
• Participate in client meetings as required and support the preparation of the technical part of tenders for acquisition processes.
• Support studies and project activities in transport, logistics and intermodal transport.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and take measures to improve quality, efficiency and productivity within your area of work.
• Take responsibility for timely, accurate and high‑quality project implementation, reporting and documentation within your professional scope.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Transport and Traffic Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of general professional experience, including at least 5 years of specific experience in the relevant area of expertise.
• Possession of a 368 licence issued by the Chamber of Engineers.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
• Confident use of AutoCAD or other specific software relevant to the professional field.
• Advanced English language skills; active knowledge of English is required.
• Serbian language skills are an advantage.
• Structured, reliable and proactive working style with strong analytical, communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills; Category B driving licence is preferred.
