Project & Budget Analyst

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Project & Budget Analyst to support its clinical research portfolio. You will monitor and analyse budgets and resource data for assigned projects, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer daily financial management of simple to moderately complex studies within the functional area.
• Review contract and bidding assumptions and perform monthly budget‑to‑actual analysis.
• Update resource forecasts and unit grids in collaboration with project leads.
• Identify risks, resolve unsupported hours, and attend risk meetings as needed.
• Prepare estimates for contract modifications and support financial aspects of projects across departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in complex project management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
