ServiceNow Platform Technical Administrator (German)

About the role

We are seeking a ServiceNow Platform Technical Administrator with German language skills to manage and support two ServiceNow instances. The role is hands‑on and focuses on platform stability, security, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain two ServiceNow instances, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform platform configuration, ongoing operational support, and release upgrades including patch management and Automated Test Framework (ATF) testing.
• Handle data imports, exports, and foundation data integration activities.
• Set up, configure, and harden security for the second ServiceNow instance.
• Install, configure, and maintain MID Servers and related connectivity.
• Configure and support Single Sign‑On (SSO) integration.
• Manage application transport and promotion across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot technical issues, and document corrective actions.
• Maintain platform documentation, technical procedures, and operational standards while collaborating with development teams and infrastructure stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4‑7 years of hands‑on experience as a ServiceNow Platform Technical Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, configuration, and operational support.
• Experience with platform upgrades, patch management, ATF, data handling, security hardening, MID Server management, and SSO integration.
