Software Engineer – Temporary (Full‑time)

About the role

As a Software Engineer on a temporary full‑time contract, you will join Bosch Digital’s agile team in Belgrade. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to design, develop and maintain software solutions that support Bosch’s global technology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development and maintenance of software components.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and follow established coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and learn from peers.
• Use version‑control systems effectively and track daily changes.
• Identify, analyse and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Monitor application resource usage and raise alerts on irregularities.
• Collaborate on new feature implementation and continuous improvement.
• Apply automated testing techniques and support integration, delivery and maintenance processes.
• Take part in daily stand‑ups and other agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma required; a college degree is a strong advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Motivation to learn, curiosity about new tools and methodologies, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while seeking timely support from senior colleagues.
• Willingness to follow agile practices and contribute to team discussions.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of at least one mainstream programming language such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, Python or Scala.
