Development Lead – Media Asset Management (MAM)

About the role

As a Development Lead for Media Asset Management (MAM) you will drive the technical evolution of Bosch’s MAM solution based on Aprimo and its integration with the Product Information Management (PIM) system. You will spend most of your time on application development, configuration and support while collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed IT concepts for MAM and PIM interfaces and manage the technical implementation of requirements, steering both internal and external service providers.
• Analyse business processes, assess customer requirements, estimate effort and contribute to proof‑of‑concept and prototype development.
• Define and execute acceptance tests covering unit, usability and performance aspects, and propose improvements throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Act as the technical contact for the team, project managers, external development partners and internal customers, collaborating with Solution Managers and IT Architects on functional delivery.

Required profile

• University degree in information technology, business informatics or a related field.
• Several years of experience in development, consulting or support of IT applications, preferably in PIM/MAM environments.
• Team‑oriented, flexible and structured working style with strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Media Asset Management (MAM) systems, especially Aprimo.
• Proficiency in REST APIs and Java programming.
• Basic Linux and SFTP knowledge.
• Familiarity with databases, image‑conversion tools and media formats such as TIFF, video and image files.
• Competence in data exchange technologies including XML, JSON and regular expressions.
