Accountant

About the role

AMA Group is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, managing tax compliance, and supporting payroll processes across multiple Southeast European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare individual and consolidated financial statements in line with domestic and international reporting standards.
• Post incoming and outgoing invoices and ensure correct VAT and tax calculations.
• Maintain payroll calculations, tax withholdings, rentals and related journal entries.
• Prepare required documentation for tax authorities and audit controls.
• Support the SEF system and ensure the accuracy of all accounting entries.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• University degree in economics or related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with local accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical thinking, multitasking ability, and independent decision‑making.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with the Navision ERP system.
