Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor will lead the accounting, finance (AP/AR) and tax team, ensuring accurate daily transaction recording, cash management and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and evaluate performance of accounting, finance (AP/AR) and tax staff.
• Oversee daily journal entries, cash/bank receipts and vendor payments to guarantee accuracy and timeliness.
• Review supporting documents (tax invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, receipts) before approving disbursements.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements: profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow and statement of changes in equity.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget, providing improvement recommendations.
• Monitor daily cash availability and produce weekly/monthly cash‑flow forecasts.
• Control accounts receivable to prevent excessive aging and schedule efficient accounts payable payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations each month.
• Ensure accurate calculation, payment and reporting of periodic taxes (PPh 21, PPh 23, Final PPh, VAT/PPN).
• Prepare documentation for annual corporate tax filing.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising accounting and finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and corporate reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
