Afterhours Tracking Specialist

About the role

Swick Logistics is seeking an Afterhours Tracking Specialist to manage load tracking during night shifts. The role ensures continuous, accurate visibility of shipments, supports drivers and customers, and resolves any issues that could affect on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and update shipment status from 11 PM to 7 AM, five nights a week on a rotating schedule.
• Provide timely information to drivers and customers, especially when delays or exceptions occur.
• Coordinate freight movement, verify loading/unloading documentation, and prioritize time‑sensitive loads.
• Book loads, collect required paperwork, and identify special handling needs.
• Maintain high‑level customer service throughout the after‑hours period.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Tracking Specialist or in the transportation industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and a solid work ethic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tracking systems and related software tools.
