AI Architect – Enterprise AI & Generative Solutions

About the role

Synechron is seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead enterprise AI architecture initiatives, focusing on Generative AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents and multi‑agent systems. The role involves defining strategy, governance and implementation standards for large‑scale AI platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise architecture for AI, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents and multi‑agent ecosystems.
• Establish AI platform strategies, technology roadmaps, architectural standards and governance frameworks.
• Design scalable, secure, cloud‑native AI solutions using Azure AI services and modern architecture patterns.
• Translate business requirements into solution architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture decisions, performance optimisation, risk mitigation and production readiness.
• Review solution designs, proofs of concept, integrations, data architectures and MLOps practices for enterprise compliance.
• Promote AI best practices such as LLM architecture, prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks and Responsible AI principles.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of enterprise AI solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations and mentor architects and engineers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, AI Architecture, Cloud Architecture or related fields.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale enterprise technology or transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, multi‑agent systems and prompt engineering.
• Hands‑on experience designing enterprise AI platforms and cloud‑native solutions on Azure.
• Deep knowledge of Azure AI services, APIs and micro‑service architectures.
